I’ve only recently got back to using my profile here, but you guys are the only people I can ask, but how do you move on from a three year relationship where you wanted to ask them to marry you, it’s been 6 8 months and it hits like hell, how do you move on in lockdown

Moving on takes time and sometimes that’s not even enough, almost 2 years on and I’m still not entirely over someone but you can accept that your feelings are/were real with that person and even if you don’t fully move on from them you can still meet someone and fall in love with them in a different way if you get me?

Like you can accept that you had something really good with that person but eventually be able to find someone that you love and care about accepting that you may still hurt from that ex.

In the meantime... it’s cliche but do you.... focus on yourself, I know when I was in your position I started hitting the gym and that’s now been my constant aid in dealing with anything mental health wise
