I never came to watch this series until pretty late in the day but, I really
enjoy it.
My particular favourites are
Pete and Sophie...I love their playful banter, taking the piss out of each other. And, that they can laugh at themselves.
The Siddiqui family... intelligent, really funny guys. Then there's good old dad, really enjoy their whole vibe.
Giles and Mary...I chuckle as Mary chastises him, like he's naughty boy!
Anyone else enjoy the show?

I’ll fess up to it being a guilty pleasure. On the whole it’s a very positive show. And yeah, the brother and sister are brilliant.
Not so keen on the two jordie girls. They say some real stupid stuff.  |

I absolutely love it!
My faves are Ellie and Izzi, The Siddiquis, Mary and Marina, David and Shirley and The Malones. I miss Leon and June.
I can not stand Mary o.O she comes across as such a horrible bully. I don't mind Giles. |

I googled it and they were married over 60 yrs..WOW!
His passing is so sad. Losing your partner after all that time is incomprehensible to me!
Leon had a sweet tooth. I remember he was meant to be wrapping a box of chocolates and as June shouted "how you getting on? " he was was stuffing empty wrappers back in the box

I've watched it for years, and it's brilliant. Told my partner about it and she said "that sounds so boring". After watching one episode she was hooked.
I watched one celebrity episode and won't watch another, most were pretentious pricks without a clue about the real world. |
