With bars ,clubs and pubs closed and some sadly staying shut its made me wonder what i would choose to call mine should i happen to own one.
I've decided on " the balls inn " hosting regular spurts and social events.
Any other potential bar-stewards out there ? |

"The ole crooked cock inn "
There is place called, The Cock Inn, at Blakeney in Gloucestershire. Some people might also like the taste of the black pudding that they serve up. I actually took my mum there for a birthday celebration. |

Many a true word said in jest. There used to be a pub in Weymouth called, The Dog House. I'm led to believe that believe that Madam Cynthia Payne had a financial interest in the place. It was basically a shrine to prostitution, but done in such a subtle way that it was inoffensive, with framed newspaper article's of infamous sex scandals from history such as The Profumo affair, but then also features like two boats rowing oars propped up in corner with the caption pinned to them stating, TWO OLD OARS STANDING IN THE CORNER NEEDING A COUPLE OF ROLLOCKS. The atmosphere was brilliant. |

"The lone wolf always thought it was a great name"
On a (slightly) similar vein, there is a pub in Egton, North Yorkshire Moors, that renames itself 'The Slaughtered Lamb' every year
However, l'm not certain whether it's to coincide with Halloween, or Whitby Goth Weekend? |

It will be to do with the American werewolf film, the pub on the moors was the slaughtered lamb.
Boys, keep off the moors. Stay on the road. Good luck to you. |
