I’ve been defeated by the ready made pancake mix
First pancake was gooey in the middle, second one burnt and there are no words for the third attempt
I’m blaming the fact I used fry light and not proper oil nothing to do with my culinary skills at all |

A tiny piece if butter melted on the pan so it just coats the bottom. Add the mix then don't touch till you see the bubbles rising to the surface then a single flip |

I tried one of those mixes that come in a plastic bottle and you add water to. I make good pancakes normally and all of mine stuck - will never use again, so probably not you at all. I oiled the pan lightly and used butter as usual. |

I have never been able to make pancakes; with the notable exception of drop scones. |

Why Cookie, why? Somethings aren’t meant to be healthy. They’re meant to be enjoyed |
