I get up, I do things that wipe me out (medical reasons I get exhausted quickly) so I nap.
Then night time comes and bing! Im awake!

"I try and avoid the nap and still go bing awake when it's bedtime "
I don't go looking for the nap, but the nap comes looking for me. Then I am doomed. |

I love a nap, just so long as I don't go over half an hour. I do know what you mean but I'm almost always up until the early hours working so doesn't make any difference to me. I also know what you mean about shaving what you can't see x |

Oh I know them well, sit down and the next thing I know it's an hour or so later |

It's the wide awake club!
Like my cheeky after lunch naps, I work early mornings so it recharges me, but this time of year when there's little daylight it's not as good. |

“they” say hold a spoon in your hand with a metal plate underneath when you nap, and when you relax and drop the spoon it will wake you and you’ve had enough to go again. Apparently Einstein used this method. |

"I love a nap! Snuggled up on the sofa with a fluffy blanket and an old film on the TV, then just drift off. Heaven "
These are my favourite type of naps |

I find I can’t sleep when I have to but up early for something important I worry I’m gonna sleep in catch 22 so annoying! So unnecessary |

When I nap I have to have the blanket covering all of me, right up to my ears.... the spoon would get lodged somewhere undercover lol |

Don't fret over being awake. Its only recently the idea of sleeping whole night through in one hit came about. We sleep and wake in cycles. Many historical figures used to have a sleep for few hours then get up at night, work, then back for more kip. Pepys and others documented how active nightlife was (and not just the oldest profession) |

Theres a medical condition called "sundown syndrome" commonly linked with dementia though.
When sun goes down you become wide awake when sun rises you sleep |

Worked with a seriously funny guy once, that liked his naps:
Apparently after waking out of one of these cat naps once, at home, he'd caught his son with a small mirror. Apparently he was "Just checking, to make sure he was still alive." |
