I'm not sure if members remember him.
But MilesSmiles was a hot tub regular, always in a suit, always a gentleman.
I've just received a text from his ex who's got his mobile.
Miles was knocked over by a van today and has serious swelling on his brain and is in hospital.
They may need to operate.
Pray for him please.
Miles has always been there for me, we have text daily for months, and so much in these last few weeks to help me, and I'm heartbroken again.
Pray!

His ex has just tested positive for Covid, but has friends in standby ready to do what's needed at hospital etc. |

Don't they always say it's the brain's way of healing itself? That's what you've got to hold onto. And if they're not actively doing anything they obviously believe his body will work it's magic.
He at least has people there ready to help out when he needs it, and I have no doubt he feels the love you're sending him.

There are absolutely no details that have been given that would compromise his privacy, and when he returns he will no doubt be buoyed up by the affection and caring shown here. |

He's awake!
He woke up around midnight 
He can't talk, but he's conscious.
I've also found out this morning that when he had his first seizure he actually flatlined and they brought him back 
I'm so happy he's awake.
I'm ringing the hospital later to check if it's ok to send a card (not sure if I can cos of Covid)
If it's ok with you, I'll write everyone's post from here in the card and send it to him.

They were worried about long damage due to his seizures, but now he's awake he's over the worst.
They will monitor his brain activity now and look at rehabilitation.
A carer is being organised for when he returns home and he'll be shielding for 2 months. |

Mike's has his mobile now, it was dropped off at hospital.
I've just spoken to him for a good 15 mins.
He's in good spirits, obviously very tired.
He's in his own little room with electrodes (right word?) attached to his head to monitor his brain activity.
He has another scan in the morning to check the swelling on his brain and they will check his balance afterwards.
He cant see very well yet but importantly has no pain.
I told him about the best wishes offered by all and he thanks everyone for their kind words and will read the thread as and when his eyesight is better.

His scans were fine this morning and has a live in carer for a while now.
