I'm currently binge watching from the beginning after BBC iPlayer released the whole lot... I got into it last year after watching the final two series.
I can't make my mind up between both characters but Josephine is definitely pleasing on the eye...Laure is quite playful for a senior figure  |

I'm thinking of going back to the beginning. I've seen most, probably all of them.
We discussed the final episode a couple of weeks ago. I wiped my tears.
Josephine, as a character, was great. Who wouldn't like to know someone like her!
The BBC licence fee helped to fund it and it's an excellent example of money well spent. |

I watched it since it was first broadcast on BBC4, had a crush on both characters since the beginning but I think Josephine wins out, have a soft spot for gingers ( being one myself ) and I do think a series with her as a civil rights lawyer has to be on the cards |

Josephine without a doubt, but, having watched it since series 1 came out, and seeing how dangerous a person Josephine is, she could end up stabbing you in the back for some reason. So I think it would have to be Laure.
Despite the fact that they have said it was the last series to be made, I have got an inkling, there could be another series as there seemed to be a few clues in the last series.
ie, Ali decided to not move to the drugs squad, Laure's reply was she was happy with him staying and there will be more crimes to solve together. Or words to that effect.
The two lead characters never got killed of or even one of them, which leaves the door open to another series with those characters coming out of retirement for some reason.
Also with Ali staying, it opens up the possibility of another series without Laure in command but Ali in charge with or without Gilou or even Gilou in charge.
There was also one or two other hints which I have now forgot. But one can live in hope as it is to good a program to not return. |
