Cheap Poundland batteries. Grrrrr!

30 AAA batteries from Poundland for £2.

Thought that was a bargain and would last me ages.

How wrong I was!

The old adage of "you get what you pay for." Is very true in this instance.

I use AA batteries in my TV remote control. (Not my sex toys! Most of those are USB rechargeable lol) but have had to change them every few weeks.

Stuff that.

It is back to Duracell from now on!

Derby

If they're open at the moment, IKEA batteries are the best for the money by far.

Made by varta and at least an equal of duracell at about ¼ of the price if not less.

Visiting Blackpool

Don't be fooled by the term "heavy duty". Always buy the cheapest Alkaline batteries, does the same as Duracell but cheaper

There and to the left a bit

Savers do batteries that are made by Duracell but sold under a different name (which I forget) that are much cheaper but last well.

Gloucestershire

Get some rechargeable batteries. Slightly bigger outlay but, saves money in the long run
