Under the Duvet

Hey Fab people, I'm trying to send a present to a family member in Germany but a lot of the companies I'd usually use aren't deivering due to the double whammy of Covid/Brexit.

Want to send something foodie or maybe alcohol.

Any thoughts?

Danke

There and to the left a bit

Order through an "in country" site perhaps? Have used Amazon.de for that very purpose in the past for example.

My twin sis lives in Germany. Sent bday & Christmas presents in boxes. Used DHL.

Works out pretty much same as reg post but more guarenteed to arrive in time & in 1 piece.

Hefty Hideaway

I regularly send food and treat hampers to Frankfurt.

Don’t consider Royal Mail. They’ll charge far far too much.

DHL is the one I use now after trying a few ways. Sort it online, print the label and they collect from home. The last parcel was 2kg. Cost £13 and if you supply their email address they can track it too (the tracking messages are all in German for the recipient just in case they don’t have the lingo).

Just keep an eye on the restricted items list so that there are no issues.
