Everyone keeps complaining to me about how horny they are and how lockdown is such a struggle, and how desperate they are to have sex again.
Meanwhile, my sex drive has completely died. Can't remember the last time I was horny, and right now I don't really care if I never have sex again.
Does anyone else feel like this, or am I just odd?! |

I don't think it's odd. It's a stressful time and I've known other people before who's sex drive shuts down when not sexually active. To be honest mine does a bit and then when I have it again it goes into overdrive. |

Not weird at all, I’ve gone through various phases since last year. Right now I don’t feel sexy at all and wouldn’t know what to do with someone if they threw themselves at me. Guess I’m hanging around here still trying to kick start my own libido if that makes sense? |

It's a well known symptom of depression and general mental ill health but also a self preservation tactic. No point in your body craving sex and social contact during lockdown, so rather than fighting against yourself it shuts itself down a little. |

Due to us not able to meet outside of our respective bubbles I don’t spend as much time on the site anymore. The forums and keeping in touch with friends are the reasons I stay on the site.

I'm glad it's not just me.
I recently had an ex fuck buddy accuse me of lying about not being horny because "Everyone is horny right now". That was a bit weird, why on earth would I lie about that?
It did make me wonder if something was wrong with me. |

It ebbs & flows week by week (middle age hormones don’t help either)
Go from super horny and craving sex to thinking there is nothing further from my mind & can’t imagine ever feeling sexual again! |

It's normal for a person sex drive to drop or increase when they are stressed, as a couple our sex drive has gone up and down over the past year, at the moment it's high for both of us, but for me (male half) it's got very low. |

It’s a tricky one. Lockdown = depressed as fuck and depressed means no libido. It’s all a bit of a shit show isn’t it haha Still. At least we have fab trying to arouse us lol |

When this whole pandemic thing started, I was flipping back and forth quite a lot. Some days I would be insanely horny and desperate to have sex, and other days I'd just have no interest.
But at this point it's been months. I literally can't remember the last time something made me feel aroused. October? November? I don't know. |

Shit show is definitely the word! Still it makes me feel better to know that I'm not alone - and I'm sure it'll come back in time.

I'm the same. Off a lot, occasionally on. I know it's a symptom of broader mental health stuff in my case, but it's convenient because I'm certainly not getting laid. |

I think there is a general malaise with people with pandemic nothings normal. Not out and about meeting people having interactions flirting etc.
This is bound to affect your sex drive.

No i don't think it's weird. The last twelve months have put everyone under a type of stress that few could have any preparation for. Not surprising to find all types of emotions turned upside down. |
