He was found guilty by most senators. Even Moscow Mitch said he was guilty as charged. He just gave the excuse that they couldn't convict him because he's no longer in office. That's very different from thinking he isn't guilty.
For the record, inciting insurrection to overthrow a (largely) democratic system and install a dictator because he didn't like the outcome of an election is generally not considered a good entry on the CV of a world leader. |
