Going outside your comfort zone

If we don't explore further than our comfort zones occasionally then we would live very boring and introvert lives and also never discover new things and this goes for life in general as well as sexuall preferences. How do we really know what we like without a sample? I speak from a life of experience stretching my comfort zones but usually with extreme sports and experiences rather than sexually "I'm on with that now". My first extreme stretch of a comfort zone was having a fear of heights and I decided to take up skydiving which lasted 12 months before quitting. Sample everything once "if it's legal and morally right". |

I'm trying to be more open minded to meeting people who we wouldn't say are meet preferences. For example older and younger people. Being on here for us is about new experiences so we want to go out of our comfort zone from time to time.

I've found over the years having a specific preference can limit great experiences.
I dont really have a preference that I stick to outside of personality now. There can always be someone who brings something new to the table. |

I find women with hairy backs a bit of a turn-off.

On this site, I’ll stick by my preferences. In a club you get to meet the person behind the profile, so I can allow certain preferences go, if their personality sparkles.
That’s why I prefer real life over the riskier chance meetings on here.  |

We met a couple that were older than what they said when we got to their house. Hubby and I had a chat and agreed that we would still go ahead with the meet as it was our first and we just wanted to see what it was like xxx |

I find people with hard aesthetic no's like that really off-putting, no matter how hot they are. Mainly because it's usually presented as anyone not meeting their criteria as being disgusting.
I have a preference, but some of the best sex I've ever had has been with people who don't conform to that. I'll always judge the person first and if there's a connection, the rest will follow.
That's why I don't get arbitrary age ranges. Like a year (or in some cases a day) makes someone less compatible... |
