They are both right, they just see things from different sides.
Unless the question is Something with a definitive answer there is no right or wrong just different.
For example if I was asking are my socks blue and somebody said they were grey they would be wrong. |

"They can both be, as they both have different experiences.
Or.... whichever one is telling the truth.
Ah but who's truth?"
That's why I said the first bit. That was my real answer but if one of them in knowingly telling an untruth then it's the one telling the truth that's right, if their right |

Truth .......
We will never know the truth of anything outside the precision of mathematics and the close observations and testing of science.....
I agree that both can be right. No right , no wrong ....... there is just .........IS.

There and to the left a bit |
The one that listens to the other and acknowledges their perspective even if they disagree with it or is persuaded to alter their opinion by the other - and in either scenario they could both be right....or possibly wrong dependent on the perspective it's viewed from |

Discussion is always better than an argument.
As an argument is a fight to find out who is right.
A discussion is to find out what is right.
So both, depending on how they approach it
Failing that, leave them in the playground |

"put forward a bit of logic and reasoning .......
which one of them is right ?
Depends on how flawed the logic and reasoning is.
It's hardly rocket surgery "
Or brain science |

"In alll likelihood they are both partial truths.
Just people's perception of what they believe to be the truth then? "
Sort of. There will be some element of truth in all perspectives but unless it is a scientific fact in the context, the perspective will still be partial even if it contains multiple perspectives. However it is quite possible that one perspective has more value than another, depending on the relative depth of each.
All people may be equal but their values aren’t |

The earth can appear flat from some perspectives. " but I think if you conduct the right scientific experiments, even just looking at lunar eclipses and star patterns we can verify the Earth isn’t flat scientifically. So in that case. It a severely partial truth that only holds any truth in a very specific context. |

"The earth can appear flat from some perspectives.
Rainbows are round " Not always, unless partial rainbows aren’t rainbows at all and it also depends on whether we define any curvature as round too |
