dont think its the media as such.

saw a bit on tv before about the boxing, and its the first time since 1904 (I think) that boxing has had women competing for the first time this year.

As one (female) boxer said "I'm a boxer. It doesn't matter if I'm male or female, I'm just a boxer!"

Good luck to all males and females in any of the sports no matter what sport or country
