"How hot have you got your heating set to? I'm on a solid 21c
Snap "
Me too - it's the perfect temperature.
I grew up in a house without central heating or double glazing- I remember it being so cold that you could see your breath
I refuse to be freezing now |

13 during the day, 10 at night with windows open too. I will give a blast at 15 during the evening but then its back down quick smart.
...I am a woman of a certain age with an internal thermostat which makes me feel warm practically constantly, much to my boyfriend and the kids disappointment.
I have also resorted to buying blankets for the sofas so that they can snuggle and I trick them all by putting the fire on but only the flame light. I even put my hand by the fire and say "oh that's nice" or "feel the heat"... the kids are 24 and 13, they just roll their eyes at me now

18 if I'm in, occasionally 19 if it's super chilly, 16 at night. The heating never comes on in the night as the house is so well insulated. I'd be very uncomfortable at 21 or over. |

I don't have a thermostat as such all rads have thermostatic valves on but. I live in a old farmhouse walls 3ft thick..... Great when heating on but within an hour of turning off bloody cold again. So I tend to leave on tick over and it's an oil boiler. However comparatively oil can work out cheaper than gas |
