TROLL? How very DARE you - ya numpty. If the only point of _iew allowed is yourse, then god help us.

Now in my opinion this show has been utter crap - soulless, lacking in colour and certainly lacking in life. If that's your kind of show then I understand why you may like it. Each to their own. I STILL think it's the poorest opening ceremony ever.

My phone keeps ringing with calls from friends and family in Canada and America saying that it's the best ceremony they have ever seen. All really patriotic for their own countries but loving this because the Opening Ceremony does not look commercial and has a story to it. But you can switch off.

That's what they said in 1948 too. Ok a lot (lot, lot, lot) less was spent but no-one thought that any one would come and that it would make a complete loss. Profit of £30k and people came. We'll have to wait and see. The benefits accrue over time.

Some people can't be happy if you give in to their demands, they'll soon find something to gripe about, quite simply some people are only happy when miserable.

The ceremony was a celebration of Britain and how it became, no glitz and no glamour just a little tale.

Fantastically done, both myself and my young son have been glued to it, I had to blag him to bed, so tired he asked me to carry him but this kept him entertained enough top keep him up, it's been a nice little lesson in history giving us both to chat about. Much better than any glitzy glamorous pointless shindig.

"Some people can't be happy if you give in to their demands, they'll soon find something to gripe about, quite simply some people are only happy when miserable.
