It's been gruelling, especially for the little ones. Whole weekends until after 10pm for the last few weeks. Last week the kids missed the last day of school as they were rehearsing all day and at the weekend. Two full dress rehearsals with almost capacity audiences just this week."

It really is show-casing the UK and London as a world city. No mono culture in this ceremony. People with disabilities too and not being left for the Paralympics. Very true to the bid document. |
