Why are they flying the French flag - does anyone think these things through - yes red white and blue, but surely they could have had a display that didn't replicate the french flag

Maybe they should have all met in the middle to replicate the Union flag?

Well they would have done but didn't want to crash into each other....I guess.

If they flew the union flag iit miight seem that they have had an argument and are trying to get away from each other......

Fly it the other way and there is the distinct posibility of catastrophie.......

They are way better than France's aerobatic team The 'Patrouille De France'

What a load of shite !

They were more exciting when they were parked up on the tarmac

I think the Italian Air Force team are a good second to the Red Arrows though.

Well I think it's fair to say they've kind of upped their game a bit since Ramstein !

The Blue Angels are the US Navy display team.

The Thunderbirds are the US Air Force display team.

Can you spot who had a mis spent youth dragging his Dad to airshows ?

Had the pleasure of being marshal at a couple of airshows and the Red Arrows even park in formation, all I had to do was marshal the first one into place and the rest followed.

Don't know if they still do it but their ground crew used to fly in the planes with them to the airfield.

They were and are still amazing!!

When I was with the ATC, spent a week at RAF Scampton, and did a day's work experience with them. And when I went to Cyprus, spent the week watching and chatting to them as they trained for the upcoming season.

that type of close flying brings inherant risks....the fact there havent been more crashes is testiment to the pilots skills.

Listening to the radio the other day and the government are on about scrapping them as they cost £9 million a year...

Why not just get them sponsored be the drink that gives you wings?

The Red Arrows are the best their is...

wasn't it the Italians that crashed in Germany in the 80's at the Ramstein air show?

Red Arrows the best out of the display teams

I saw one of the Red Arrows crash at Brighton... Report says clipped a sailing mast. Why was he that low though?
