i was there. do you remember the inflatables? was it the john deacon one that the roadies failed to grab the rope properly and it floated out of the stadium and off over london? |

it was such a scorcher that day too. the alarm were great ... mostly nobody had heard of inxs then. people sat and ate their lunch on the pitch as it was so early on. hutchence got upset and demanded that everybody get up and dance to the greatest music they'd ever heard. the crowd lobbed drinks bottles at the band and carried on ignoring them. quo were so dull i went to sleep. |
