"Are those the pies you cook in their tin after removing the lid? Haven't had one of those for ages!
Yes, and they’re best eaten naked "
I went to a naturist spa (before I discovered swinging) and it felt really odd eating my dinner naked but really I was worried about spilling hot food and burning myself |

I remember trying of these years ago at an outdoor adventure kind of event, it was pretty grim. Tasted almost metallic and the quality of ingredients was not great |

Loved the pies as a council house poor kid and hadn’t had one in many many years but stumbled across some in a shop here so brought two and thought that they were gash so another childhood memory smashed.
Enjoy your bentos.

Flaky pastry followed by fresh air followed by soggy pastry followed by a few chunks of meat (Probably not steak) a bit of gravey, mash & peas = old skool tea!
Wonder if it's just northerners who like a frey bentos pie..

Should be terrible but they aren't half bloody tasty
I like making Fray Bentos butties "
How the hell do you do that? The only bit that would stay between slices of bread is the crispy pastry top |

All of these offensive unidentified bits of animals in gravy have never passed my lips
Especially ones in tins

Right ok, so I bought myself one of these out of pure curiousity (and sort of remember having them as a kid)
Mine didn't have pastry underneath, is that normal? Did I have a dud?
I'm half northern, so bloody love a bit of pastry, and was very underwhelmed by this piss poor excuse of a pie!
Her x |
