I’ve got an oversized rose gold Michael kors watch from the women’s collection that was trendy back in 2013 ... its so heavy I basically never wear it...
I like watches on men but not on myself, i prefer bracelets |

"I do like watches. Can't justify spending that much on a watch. They've went up a lot since I was younger and looking at watches. I'd be bricking it walking around with £5k on my wrist. " All my watches are I insured !

I know people buy and wear the replica fir around £250 and keep the real one in the safe other than very special occasions , often they forget they are wearing the replica. I had a lesson in rhe different sweeping motions and markings , it’s still hard to tell a good replica from the original without a magnifying glass |

Never wear one. Haven't worn one for about thirty years. The time is displayed everywhere nowadays, and if I want to time something, I use my phone.
I think they are just worn for aesthetic reasons now rather than their original purpose. |

Got into collecting about 4 years ago now.
Current line up is
Tudor black bay red (original eta)
Tudor GMT
Tag heuer aquaracer chronograph
Tag Heuer F1 alarm
Tag Heuer 1500 series (1992 model)
Tag Heuer aquaracer - green dial/bezel
Rolex oyster perpetual
Hamilton khaki field
G shock gulfmaster
Orient maxo XL

Also had a longines master collection and an Oris aquis but have moved both those on. Part exed the longines and the oris went back three times because it was fucked. Worst watch I’ve ever owned. |

Garmin 6x pro.
About as much as I'd ever want to spend on a watch but it can record gps track for 36 hours on one charge, display location and a map as well as all the usual running metrics that you may want on a workout run or 100 mile ultra. I don't mind spending for functionality, can't see the point for a status symbol - especially given the comment above that it needs a training course and a magnifying glass to even tell

Why on earth would you buy a fake watch and the real version? That makes no sense to me! You’d be just as likely be mugged for the fake one. |

I wear day today a DKNY ltd edition. Whilst not an expensive watch in real terms, was bought in New York and has a lot of memories attached.
This other guy I know, he has a TAG F1, yes old school , but has been everywhere and again lots of memories attached.
Another TAG, a present sits in its box, very rarely used.
Audemar Piguet Royal Oak offshore is used a bit more, it’s heavy, used on certain occasions, but a bit in your face tbh. |

A fantastic watch. We're still using a Fenix 3 and an older 920XT but hope to upgrade to the Fenix 6 soon.
On the dress watches, have a Omega Constellation 1967 (birthday year) that I got for my 40th but hardly ever get it out of the box. I picked up an automatic Rolex Yacht Master (copy) which is a stunning looking watch. No way could I pick up a real one at £27k!!!
Live in the the Garmin watch but love wearing the fake Rolex as a dress watch as it looks so nice. |
