Well we all know that one person who can fall in a barrel of shit and still come out smelling of roses figuratively speaking.
It does feel that some are born lucky and just seem to bimble through life going from one fortunate event to another.
Whilst others just always seem to get hit with the shitty stick after falling from the shit tree hitting every branch on the way down.
Yes some people make their own luck.
The old story about the golfer being asked by a journalist after winning a major tournament.
"What do you attribute your good luck to?"
Reply was
"You know, the more I practice the luckier I seem to get!" |

It's all in your attitude, approach, and learning capacity, nothing more. I used to live I a world where I thought if something good happened then things might get "too good" and then something bad would happen to balance it out. It's bollocks though really, you can push that balance in your favour |

Maybe the lucky ones were all people who did something good in a former life and are reaping their earthly benefits. All of us with the shit luck are still on a first life having to prove ourselves worthy to the great Goddess of Luck.
Or maybe not. |

Depends on what you think of a luck.
Walking away from a motorbike crash with whiplash and concussion, when both me and the bike went over the bonnet of the car. I landed on the back of my head and neck, I think I believe in luck. |

I think we all need a little bit of luck on our side but you have to make your own luck in life too. Take a chance, take a risk, make changes if you aren't happy, go after what your heart wants. That sort of stuff.

I genuinely think you can make your own luck. I feel that you get out of the world what you put into it and not in a charitable, good deed kind of way, but in the "work hard, make the most of your opportunities" kind of way.
You'll find the people who claim to be unlucky may find excuses for why they failed and put it down to luck where more introspection is required |
