There and to the left a bit

Going old school with Oliver!

Although have enjoyed both the Green Day and Madness musicals in more recent years.

Shrek was fun, although probably more pantomime than musical.

Les Mis is good, Phantom obviously, 42nd street was ok but much more basic, but it is older.

Wicked though is brilliant. I've seen it on Broadway (yes, with Idina Menzel) and again when it toured the UK. Brilliant, and a total subversion of Wizard of Oz that I loved.

Watched it last week, bought back memories of sitting on my balcony listening to them sing as they filmed.

The stage show got right into my soul

Judging by the number of times I’ve seen it live, I’d say Hamilton. Tbh, I like theatre but musicals aren’t my favourite.

I do like Hamilton but my reasons have little to do with the actual stage production of the musical and more to do with the background/writing of it.

One of my favourite show tunes ever is from Follies. It gives me a lump in my throat every time.

Honourable mention to Gypsy.

I absolutely love a chorus line, but no-one ever seems to have heard of it. I sing it in my head loads… “tits & ass”
