I like the music from Hamilton but not the show (well the recorded on on Disney plus anyway)

I like the music from Hamilton but not the show (well the recorded on on Disney plus anyway)

ah really! I think its brilliant... easily the best 'new' musical I've seen. hoping it tours here when the world is back to normal!!

I am half watching it & half chatting on the forums.

It is lovely background music.

I am a big fan of live theatre & musical theatre in particular.

My ultimate surprise in a musical though was Faith Brown as Norma Desmond

I always associate her with crap impressions, big tits, Freddie Starr & maggots, so I was really dubious

Turned out she was awesome

The performance was great (as always, those girls are incredible) but I was a bit disappointed in the song choice. Out of context from the rest of the show it makes little sense and if this was my first exposure to them it wouldn't make me want to see the show.

Lea Salonga is incredible, her On My Own is one of the best showtune performances ever for me
