It doesn't make it any easier on the heart but it does help give that extra bit of strength to help you through any conflicting brain thoughts.
I looked at it that knowing 'when' gave me the opportunity to give her her favourite foods the day before and do all I could to ensure her last day was the best I could give her, and although it was brutal, it gave small comfort.
