OK, that’s b*ll*cks. A nice, lyrical Welsh accent is amazing though. A woman from mid-Wales was chatting to me (in Welsh) in work a while back, and her voice waa heavenly.

Sorry to disappoint. I can do a half decent impression, but I know it’s not the same.
I do enjoy the occasional compliments about the accent I get though when ringing other parts of the UK with work.
When I was a student in the north of England, I lived with Welsh guy who had a lovely accent. a policewoman came to the house one day because we’d reported a crime. She was openly swooning when he spoke and said straight out that she loved his voice. She came round a few more times off work . |
