Okehampton

To be honest I don’t think I could every go on a cruise as they seem like floating Petri dishes and I know that being trapped in a boat for a long period of time would result in me meeting someone that wanted to tell me about their snail collection on a daily basis and lead to me hiding out in the engine room.

That being said I really would like to go around the fjords in Scandinavia.....

Have a look at some of the sites ,don’t think you’d need to worry about the snails

I worked for both Royal Caribbean and Cunard so have been on a fair few cruises working. There is a company who have a fleet of sailing vessels plying the Caribbean. Luxury yachts owned by such as the Rockefeller's and Vanderbilts in the thirties, I would love to take a cruise on one.

There was that caged area on the canal near Dale Street, it may not be the type of cruising you're talking about though.

I went on one and understand why people say "once you cruise you'll never go another type of holiday"

Loved every minute of it

I will say check the age of the guests. If you are going with your children look for a family cruise
