I'm on my second slice and debating a third.

This was meant to be a pre-breakfast breakfast to keep my strength up

A third slice is fine - so long as you put marmite on it

Two is perfectly acceptable, three is just a little treat to yourself, ask the mirror before a fourth.

Do you create dainty hand shapes with normal bread or do you have a massive loaf to make manly hands?

Both, I’m an Equal opportunist high fiver, I will even high five granary bread and a gluten free loaf.

I would imagine sourdough creates the most sturdy hands to high five.

I would cut the gluten free bread into a face shape so I could slap it when it pops up - it's just an insult to toast!

How big are the slices and how empty is your stomach.

Also depends what is on the toast.

Three slices is nowhere near too much.

There are very few things as magical as the transformation of bread to toast. It's the caterpillar to butterfly of the culinary world... and every topping is a different world of wonder, from plain butter, to chilli sauce sprinkled cheese on toast, to marmite, to any number of jams. It might be the best thing in the world.

No to be fair, 8 slices of toast is a good ratio to 1 tin of beans as long as you're using the toast as your "spoon" if you're being posh and using a knife and fork then 4 slices is adequate lol.
