Not sure if this post has been done before but of late I’ve seen a lot of “begging” for fabs on pictures. Is there a specific reason why getting loads of fabs is now the new trend on here?
I’m not sure where the correlation between swinging and fabs on a pic is. Women on here are inundated anyway and I assumed people were posting pics because they liked them themselves, not just for others praise.

I did think it may have been asked lol. I only started it as I had seen a few statuses over the past week or so and then one today complaint about the lack of fabs in her full frontal pic she posted. Madness lool

Some people need or like a lot of validation. Requests for fabs are no different to any other status updates really, you like them or you don't. I find them quite good for filtering. |

Everyone is on here for attention of one kind or another, and in the grand scheme of things asking for fabs is pretty harmless.
If it ain't your thing then that's ok,hey ho  "
I agree with the attention part but if your asking for fabs does it not feel less organic if you know what I mean. |

I've never begged for a fab, its nice of i get one. If I didn't want my pics fabbed I'd turn the option of. As z curvy girl I appreciate the fab. And I always fab pics of guys/girls/couples if I like the pic. No ulterior motive.
Oh and not every woman is inundated with attention or messages. |

Most fabbed pics has become a league table. Some ladies (almost always ladies) are getting over 2k fabs in a day.
Some folks get a kick out of getting onto page 15 (TBH - we did get a kick from that).
Gotta say though, when you see lots of people looking at profile and NOT fabbing your pics it’s like “gee thanks guys”  |

I don’t understand either, because it’s not like the site has an algorithm that is going to promote you dependent on amount of “fabs” (or does it?).
I don’t even check mine so it’s a total waste of time in my opinion, sooner just get to messaging. |

It's just self-promotion and/or validation. People want to be noticed on here and since the hot pics function exists they're utilising it. It's not something I've ever sought out, but we're all different and it's good that Fab is able to cater for a variety of needs. |

Personally I’ve no problem when needy people ask for fabs but it does tickle me in a perverse way when they ask and you take a peak and they have achieved the grand total of ten from a audience of over 30,000 which kind of confirms that they are not as popular as they think they are but bless them for trying!!

Doesn’t really bother me what other people do. I always forget to fab and to look at mine! But I’ve been recently making a conscious effort to start dabbing pics I like x |

Because it gives them a dopamine rush, the more Fabs they have the more they want and then they’re stuck in a loop, a never ending loop, searching for the next high, when what they really need is a cuddle and to be told everything will be okay. Or maybe not, what do I know. |

And thats fine, We all like to have our egos boosted and also people are here for different reasons.
Some people are here just to post pics and be an exhibitionist and we appreciated for it. |

Also I have a problem with the word begging for fabs because that sounds derogatory.
Surely if somebody asks for a photo to be fabbed it's simply a request. |

I don't beg for fabs or chastise my friends for not fabbing my pics, I just post a few pics every week for fun, but of course it's flattering if people fab them. Let's not pretend it's not.
If someone fabs your pic it means that like it, and that's always nice.
Maybe it's also gone a bit mad at the moment because no one is meeting, so for the exhibitionists of the world, this is a good outlet for them. And we're not a group of kink shamers are we?  Live and let live folks  |

I know getting a fab gives most a nice feeling, but when your asking for those fabs. It’s no longer organic and so must kill the feeling. A bit like if you got a compliment from your partner say about your bum. It’s feels nice. But if you say Oi babe tell me how nice my bum is... it’s not really the same anymore looool |

I ready don't mind if someone wants their pics fabbed...if I like them I'll fab them.
If it makes them happy that's fine by me.
I only think it'd be sad if it was used to validate themselves in some way.
As long as it's for fun I don't see an issue with it.

I have two views,
1, it's harmless and if it gives people a buzz, then it's no bad things
and
2, when some people upload a pic captioned, 'fab it if you want to fuck it' then it's a bit naff.
I guess it is like most things, all fine unless taken to excess.
Now fab my f'in pics! |

Maybe it's a way of keeping entertained through lockdown lol.... Set a mission for yourself to get on to the number one spot or something lol.... Or maybe in lieu 0f being able to meet people in person it's a way of making up for the lack of attention? Who knows but if its making them happy then what harms it doing |
