It depends what they are thanking you for. If it's in response to "You look beautiful" then it doesn't mean it's the end of it. If it's in response to "I've decided to stop stalking you" then it's fair to say you're done. |

I often just say thanks when I get a message paying me a compliment or saying something nice. It doesn't mean uts the end of conversation. I usually say happy fabbing when I've nothing more to say |

I often say thank you, if they’ve sent a compliment but not wanting to take the chat further.
You do usually get a reply back in which I might just state that they’re not for me without going into reasons why, that does sometimes bring on the questions of what my reasons are
But always try to keep it polite |
