I need help "
Snap I am.the same. Been having a few purges lately though. One of the few advantages of lockdown and restrictions. |

"Are you proactive with clutter "
One of the million things i said I'd tackle this lockdown. Looking to move when this nightmare ends and we can travel, have boxes ready: keep, recycle, charity shop, bin, eBay...all empty. But I've made a start! |

It is a constant battle and i am on the losing side. Too much stuff. Everything should have its own place but it never stays there. I end up getting so fed up with it all that i often end up flying around the house like a Tasmanian Devil clearing everything up. However, in not too shorter time it is back to square one.......waaaaaaaaa ! |

"I used the first lockdown to start clearing and then managed to either take to charity shops or for recycling after the lockdown ended"
Our charity's shops stopped taking stuff as too many people did the same and they have no where to store it |

"Daughter of a hoarder, so I try hard to keep on top of my clutter.
Got bags of stuff waiting for the chazza shops to reopen "
All of the clothes charity bins are filled 2 days after emptying them round here, then they leave it on the floor |

I am a tidy and organised person.
During this Winter lockdown I have done a lot of decluttering of my kitchen drawers mainly as that was the areas I had more things than I needed or used.
I have popped the items into storage boxes & they are in my garage for the time being, until a point in time ( hopefully this Spring) where the local outdoor car boot sale starts up again.
I then plan on having a stall there for a few weeks to get rid of some things & make a bit of cash in the process! |

Thats a good idea, unfortunately lots of other people had that idea last year and the queues were horrific |

"I’m pretty good , I like a decluttered office and kitchen to work. Looking into zero waste in 2021 as well which should help
I am impressed

I tend to clutter my man cave until I get fed up with it then have a good tidy up and dump any just in case items. I'm doing that more frequently because I'm mostly working from home and my workstation is somewhere in there! |

Hate clutter, although we do have a cupboard that everything we keep "incase it can be used again" goes into. It's like a bloody tardis. As the saying goes "out of sight, out of mind"
We are in the process of decorating the whole house and have decided we're going to be have a really good clear out |

"I have clutter. Lots of it. And one of the best things about lockdown is that people can't keep threatening to 'help' me get rid
I hate that, especially when they have lots at home themselves "
I know! Glass houses and stones come to mind.... |

I have 3 rooms filled with other people’s crap.
It was 4 but I de-cluterred one and turned it into a bedroom.
I'm badgering my son to put up a shed in the garden so my house is no longer a storeroom for other people's toot.

"We have to declutter soon as we are having an extension built this year! Must start soon. "
That will just encourage you to buy more stuff you don’t need. Next house I buy will be a coachhouse or cottage with no storage ! |

I think we can spread the stuff we have out, to stop the daily event of things falling out cupboards and knowing what we have got. I like things put away than cluttering up the work surfaces. I am hoping that this will also cure 'clutter blindness' which everyone but me suffers from. I can only hope.

1 year rule for me, I can be bad with clothes and lingerie, so if not worn in a year, its sold or binned. As for house clutter, no I dont have alot of stuff, just what I need and about 5 ornaments |

I struggle to relax in cluttered spaces so I have OCD tendencies when it comes to “a place for everything and everything in its place”
However......
I have a guilty secret, one that nags at me in the nights I cannot sleep, one that whispers to me when I am settled with a cup of tea, I try to ignore it, but it never goes away..... “the loft..... the loft.....the loft.....” |
