Sad story just on the news .

The inspirational Tom Moore is in hospital with the virus .

I pray hes ok , he was a true inspiration last year

Just had a quick look on the TOL and yes it looks like Covid, gulp.

Yes he did but it may not have been a long enough time to prevent Covid affecting him. They say it takes 3 weeks to give immunity.

I have just also looked it up and had a read a news paper article that said he had Pneumonia and was in hospital already and caught covid there.

He is very sick by the looks of it, he has had the vaccine so hopefully the covid symptoms will be mild.

Was taken to hospital with Pneumonia but has tested positive for covid, not quite the same given he's likely had the vaccine, however Pneumonia at his age is very serious of course

I saw that he couldn’t have the vaccine as he was taking medicine for his pneumonia. He was being cared for at home and only went to hospital at the weekend. On Sunday it said he was on oxygen but not a ventilator so hope still for him.
