Well obviously it's dead at moment so maybe they think it's time wasting as meetings not happening. I think there will be a huge surge in action when things do get back to meeting after social distancing over |

People will continue to live their liberal lifestyles if they wish, this pandemic has brought restrictions but a world with no human contact and interaction of the naughty kind is not the world I hope will continue, life will return clubs will reopen parties commence and like minded people meet, some may leave the scene but that’s a personal choice  xx |

Apart from the shocking deaths and illness that has happened.
The next biggest thing I have personally noticed that has come from the pandemic is how selfish people are and ignorant to public and personal health.
It has certainly made us really consider how/if we are going to

its possible that some people have realised, in the grand scheme of things, that the swinging "scene" or fab in general are not the be all end all.
im sure most will still enjoy certain aspects without feeling the need to be involved in other aspects.

The amount of selfish, entitled people disgusts me, being asked to make a small sacrifice to help save lives so we can get through this as quick as possible, imagine the hardest thing you’ve been asked to do in your life is stay at home and wear a mask when you’re out then you’ve lead a privilege life. |

It's bad enough seeing the numbers of infected and deaths on the news, but when you're contacted by someone or see someone still trying to hook up via status updates it then becomes personal. It's like you're being told "your life and health means nothing to me, I really don't care if YOU become another statistic, another number on the news and if you do? Don't matter, you fulfilled MY 'need' for that moment and that's what's important to me"
Makes me think that humankind really is shameful. If these people are prepared to take your life, your health, your future away, they'd have no issue taking anything else from you, being rifling through your possessions if they were in your home, ignoring your own rules and boundaries etc.
You mean nothing, your life is worth nothing. That's the message it sends to me anyway. |

Totally agree. It has been a real eye opener seeing just how incredibly entitled & selfish a huge percentage of the population are. It has brought out the very worst in some people, but thankfully it has also shown that there are still some genuinely good, selfless, people in the world as well. |

That's not to say it can't be ' re born' but I'd say in a totally different way with more emphasis on the virtual than the real ? And smaller ' vetted' groups maybe who are all sure if each others clean bill of health and can prove it .
Simply can't have open venues where people are that kind of close to eachother again as they used to be or wanting to meet strangers at weekends at their place etc .. can't be allowed to happen surely ? Or could it ?

I liken it to the dance music scene in the late 80s early 90s. My friends and I were out every weekend, in fields, in sweaty leisure centres, in clubs, we raved and we danced and we thought it would never end.
Then some people stopped turning up and the crowd I hung about with got smaller, eventually I moved and hung up my Adidas Gazelles......
But dance music didn’t stop, it changed, and as I got older and other life-things got in the way, I just stopped going.
Like any “scene”, it evolves and either you evolve with it or you find other interests. There will always be a swinging scene, but it will change over time and the regulars you once knew will be the memories you recall. |

I'm not convinced that people leaving Fab is directly linked to the current situation. My feed this morning was full of people wanting lemo, along with free site supporter access. It feels like a proliferation of idiots have discovered Fab of late.

How I go about my sexual exploration will evolve. I’m yet to know exactly how and I am unconcerned that I don’t know. I have a couple of intentions but I wouldn’t call them plans.
One thing for sure is I’ll be in a better place as a human being post pandemic than I was before. |

I'd already given myself the timeline of the next Brum social as to whether I leave the scene or not. I've lost a few people I cared about.
They were lovely to me and gave me wonderful experiences.
Some just stopped,others moved further away or abroad.
I still hear from them now and then which is nice that they remember me.
Be nice to find people like that again |
