My younger self wasn’t aware I had a shadow that needed exploring until 20 years ago. So my shadow self has shape shifted over the last 20 years to become the old one to explore using Fab, so there is no younger one unless I find an apprentice. The old one came into being on my 50th birthday |

If feelings of jealousy or insecurity come up in poly world.. First is to go gently on the feelings.. The worst part for me can be judging myself for having them.
Then I get alongside them and try to ask what they are saying to me. The feeling is rarely to do with the other people involved and more to do with my inner child feeling something.
I have a good level of communication with partners so if anything needs addressing such as setting a new boundary or just getting sone simple reassurance, we can get on it.
It's all natural to feel this stuff so curiosity and dialogue is usually the way through. |

I've really struggled with choosing one.

My hero?
I admire Shackleton as a leader who managed to safely being all his men back after their ship was caught in the ice. A trek across part of Antarctica and then sailing in a small boat in the Southern Ocean, navigating with a sextant. As an ex professional Sailor I understand how tough some if that must have been.
It was Ironic that after surviving all of that, that they soon went to off to the front in WWI. So very sad.
