The demise of posture

Ladies how many of you, like me, are normally used to wearing heels for work but haven’t had a pair on your feet for quite some time?

It’s ruing my posture wearing flat footwear during lockdown! I’ve noticed it more the last few weeks. I don’t feel as if I stand correctly anymore.

Anyone else noticed this?

I thought you'd be the sort to gracefully float about in kitten heels and a feathery, gauzy dressing gown, drinking cocktails... so disappointed to learn this isn't true.

Mine is bad for many reasons now. I used to wear heels all the time too.

Your best off not wearing heels, they can cause joint and feet problems

Yes, I think if ever I put a pair of heels on again instead of looking like a gazelle walking along I will be more like the little kid wearing mum's heels that are 6 sizes too big.

I came down the stairs on my bum the other night just in case.....

Coz that was soooooo much easier than just taking my fucking shoes off

I'm pretty sure that heels are bad for the posture.

They fuck up your knees.. spine.. alignment...

They look great - I'll admit and I do wear them occasionally but I love flats for the comfort and versatility... and they can look equally great.

I've been wearing mine sporadically, even if it's just heeled boots to go to the supermarket...I have to wear a variety of heel heights regularly as I have pesky calf muscles that knot up if I don't

Unless going out in my poshest of frocks I never wear heels because I never mastered the art of walking gracefully in them. I thought they were meant to damage your posture anyway, not improve it?
