I made it to the end of my 30 day workout challenge!
Did you set any goals for January? Did you achieve them? Or was simply surviving enough?
Either way, we've pretty much made it to February, through the longest January in history! Go you!

"Also... there was someone that I said I'd send my progress pics to... who was it?
It was a female..."
We’ll have them please
We adapted a spreader bar from an extendable walking stick as the one we have didn’t extend wide enough....that’s pretty much it for January |

Congratulations and well done.
I’m just plodding along keeping my head down and trying not to wish the days away until spring.
I’ll get back on the personal fitness when the weather improves, yes, I’m a fair weather kinda guy.
Spending 8-10 hrs a day weekdays out in the elements this time of year does kill your mojo a bit. |

"Well done OP
Started running again after long break and have stuck with it. Hoping to do a marathon for my 50th next year. "
Oh hats off! I've done a half in a heatwave, that was no fun! Put me right off doing a full marathon! |

Oh I can see how it would! I'm definitely a fair weather runner! I hate being cold! Keeping fit is definitely more fun when the weather is more pleasant!

Thanks! I couldn't cut something out my diet. Everything in moderation
I'd rather do some burpees then have a biscuit |

Congratulations Mrs Racer, that an excellent achievement
I have run/walked 268 miles during January. I entered myself into a virtual challenge to kick start my training for a marathon and instead of selecting the 108 mile event I thought sod let's do the main event...all 268 miles!
I will finish my last 5 miles later this afternoon with my boyfriend who also entered the event once he knew of my crazy decision.
Its actually been a tough commitment and an emotional roller coaster on times way more than it has been physically demanding, which is what has surprised us both.
Now I need to plan my next challenge.....
Her x |

"I am still working on "Dry January", successful so far
Oooh well done! Do you feel any different for doing it? "
Not really, I lost a few pounds but not that much to make a real difference. Occasionally I miss a glass of beer in the evening, especially on weekends, but that is a good opportunity to go to bed early and try to get some good sleep. In short, it was a nice experiment and I am going to extend for a couple of more days but not mental or physical change |

Well done OP
Only real goal was to run 10k every Monday with a friend. Managed all but one week and took 4 mins of the time.
Feb goals is to carry on and also get some weights and sparring done each week as well

"I have done sweet fuck all apart from sort the spare bedroom
I'm ridiculously out of shape.
I attempted one 30 min beginners yoga thing and managed 15
"
Stick at it, it will get easier.
I've managed to go for a running waddle at least 3 days of the week, for every week of the month so I'm quite proud of myself for doing that. I didn't set it as a challenge but I wanted to stop coming up with every conceivable excuse to not. |
