Back in lockdown 1 I remember spurs chick doing drawings, I got a lovely one and returned the favour.
Hope she sees this..
So would anyone like to set up a zoom group were we could draw someone share ideas and drawings.
Also someone who would like to model? |

It sounds like a great idea OP. I tend to work from photographs. I doubt I'd make a zoom thing - time is somewhat irrelevant in my house and there's always something else to get my attention.
If this goes ahead, send me a pic of the model and I'll gladly share my drawing when I get the chance.

My mum does a zoom art class and they had a male model this week.. Naked, except for a G-string from what i can gather
Her mate drew his hand at a very, erm, unfortunate angle .. He looked lovely and proud
She sent me the pic and i giggle everytime i see |

I was a naked life model in my teens with a mate and we chose a naked wrestling/fighting pose very up close and Roman Olympics type theme ( cos the Athletes competed naked or they were killed . So although we were both only curious back then to say we bonded intimately was an understatement. We did it for a an old guy easily in his late 60's early 70's so hes probably dead now as im in my mid 50's. He first saw us both play fighting in the sea at Dawlish Warren in Devon and i admit i was a very different shape . He approached us both with some of his work to show us in his car nearby and was very generous to us both . We did about 6 different sittings and only 1 we did as kinda what he called Erotic Art ( without the need for Viagra back then and to us it was borderline on pushing us just that bit too far in front of someone anyway . lol) for him, some in pencil some in that black charcoal and I wished I'd been able to keep them able to keep them because they were AMAZING . I'd probably consider to still sit for the right person or people and naked too I guess .

Hi Sally and spurs.. Yes it went well thanks. I found a class on eventbrite done a few since then. And did some for some couples who asked. |

I've always want to be a model for life drawing. But I doubt a zoom call would be the same as actually being in the same room as the ones drawing.
Plus it's apparently quite hard to stay like it for as long as needed from what I've heard. |

We do different lengths from 5 minutes to 20 which is enough time to capture what you need..... |

It's not great but that's why I want to learn more!

We are both signed up to our first life drawing class. Hopefully it all goes well. This first time on Saturday me/male is model and she is tutoring. Her turn next then.  |

I started art classes during lockdown, I’ve not done a live life drawing class/zoom yet.
But enjoy drawing low light atmospheric portraits. If anyone wants one done pm me.
To all other artists, meet-up is best app to find zoom & in person classes, the closer you are to London the more options you have. I’d be up for attending with someone later in the year maybe a drink/social after. |
