This time of year TV is mainly rubbish but I have found some of the old films entertaining especially Ladies in the 1940s era and how they dress.

Do many ladies these days enjoy wearing fashioned dresses and other clothes

I love wearing fitted and shapely dresses that accentuate my figure, it's just not always practical or I'd wear them most of the time

When we can start getting together again, I suggest trying out a wartime / 1940's weekend

They are great fun and people look amazing, both women & men

Oh i love the structure of the garments from that time...all the seaming, boning, lining, clever shaping... Flattering waist / shoulder / necklines

... hints of what lies beneath

I've got some amazing vogue patterns that emanate the era.. Just not enough free time!

I only wear 40s/50s clothing (it's mostly reproduction rather than actual vintage, but still).
