We had chicken casserole cooked in the slow cooker with mushrooms, red onions, carrots and peppers cooked with the chicken. Mash potatoes with it.

I’m collecting an Italian takeaway later on for the good lady wife; the food variety, although I’m sure she’d be quite happy with the male variety too as long as he was bringing the food along with him.

I’ll probably do myself chicken with pasta, pesto, pine nuts and Grana Padano so dinner doesn’t cost a second mortgage.

The children have just had chicken and pesto pasta, I have no idea what to do for me and mr until I see what random assortment of goods he brings back from Lidl. I just hope they don’t have anything to catch his eye in the middle aisle. I once sent him for a loaf of bread and he came back with a drum kit

As for yorkies, they belong on all roasts and even cold with jam for breakfast.
