I just seen on another thread about BBW and how common it is. Seems to be a nice way of describing a big lady and I get that. But never see anything nice for the larger men |

"Woman are BBWs. Blokes are Fat
Woman are Slim. Blokes are skinny
Women are Powerful. Blokes are arrogant
Woman are Playful. Blokes are Perverts
This was supposed to be be a Haiku......"
Actually I’ve found the exact opposite. Women get judged far more harshly than men |

Or that when presented with the same experiences, we draw different conclusions? |

So my opinion and experiences are “wrong” then? |

Where did he say that? He said that two people, from the same situation can draw different conclusions.
As a woman I can tell you that I'm not powerful, I'm bossy.
I don't have an opinion, I'm a know it all.
I am not playful, I'm a tease, asking for it and don't have agency over my own body.
If I reject someone who called me a BBW believe me it quickly turns to 'Fat ugly heffer'.
Women aren't slim, they are 'too skinny', or twigs.
I'm not saying that men aren't subject to scrutiny on appearance but it is nothing compared to that of women.
This is my lived experience, not once, but repeatedly, the experience of my peers and friends.... |

I've been both 3 stone lighter and 3 stone heavier than I am now and yep to all you just said. |
