I have a pair of skinny jeans from Next. They are a washed dark blue and from the lift, shape and slim range. They give my bum a nice look and fit lovely on my waist and legs. I have had them about 5 years and they still look in great condition.

"I used to have a pair of levi's that I adored
I've worn asda George bootcut jeans for the past 10 years as they fit my arse, muscley thighs and calfs without shrink wrapping them "
I have a problem with new stretchy jeans, from an outlet in Debenhams whose name has escaped me.
They are tight on my right thigh and I can't walk in them properly, because the stretchy material is stronger than my thigh.

The original shrink to fit Levis. I had my first pair in 1972, they cost me £3:50. I've had several pairs of Levis since but don't own any currently. The nicest pair I have at The moment cost me £5 in the Next sale |

I’ve had many. I always buy raw, indigo, unsanforised denim. I currently own a pair of Momotaro and a pair of Pure Blue Japan. I’m wearing the Momotaro more often, whilst working from home because, even though they haven’t done much as far as fading goes, the denim is softer than the Pure Blue Japan, so they’re more comfortable to be wearing whilst stuck in lockdown.
My favourite jeans were my Samurai though. I bought them in 2014 and wore them for about five years. They had a good 9-12 months of wear before I gave them their first soak in the bath, and then I did a bath soak to wash them, with a tiny bit of detergent in, about twice a year after that. I always wore them dry so that any shrinkage happened in perfect shape to my body, and every time they got a soak the fading got more and more interesting. They were like a second skin... and then my waist expanded too much lol.
Another pair that were amazing were my Flat Head F310. They faded beautifully. I could easily say that these were my favourite jeans, ever, but for the fact that the rise was just too low, so I was paranoid that I was showing butt crack every time I sat down. The Pure Blue Japans I currently have are pretty much the same company as The Flat Head, and they have a higher rise, so are more comfortable, so I am expecting great things from them. Only time will tell.
By the way, I am a full-on denim geek! Lol. I think you might have already guessed that. |

Around 6 years ago Primark did brilliant hight waisted jeans with three front buttons as well as a zip and two front pockets.
They then changed them to one button and no front pockets, which didn't give the same fit.
My original black pair are now sadly on their last legs and my blue pair have gone baggy on the arse
So I'm reading this thread with interest to see which jeans are recommended for the fat of bum and strudy of thigh |
