Does 100 years of straight romance in cinema turn gay people straight?

No

Nor does gay porn turn anyone gay.

Maybe you're a little bi Curious? Perhaps you just enjoy watching got sex regardless of the genders? Maybe you're "situationally bi"?

Nope , there is no amount of porn that would turn me straight , you must already have the desire to start with surely

Possibly the fact that you know how good it feels cumming, getting a BJ or whatever you're watching enhances your enjoyment, rather than it's giving you bisexual thoughts?

I wouldn't say so no! My transgender daughter when she first went to docs the doc asked who she lived with she said mum and 2 sisters was an old lady doctor she suggested not in as many words but maybe this could b reason she wanted to b female! Thank goodness she was not a typical doc! The ones at the gender clinic were absolutely fantastic x

Leaving the labels aside.........

Feeding your brain with certain images renders you to becoming hardwired to be stimulated by those images....

A diet of anything eventually becomes your reality.

Thoughts become words become actions.

Don't believe me. Look up psychologists learning/teaching on the matter.

Rapists and pedophiles have thoughts, images, internet discussions , porn viewing, wanks for years before they make it their reality ....... and all the times saying - I'd never do it though ... I just look at it. I just talk about it. etc etc etc .....

So ..... I wouldn't say you become gay. I'd say you have 'widened' your pool for sexual gratification.

If I want to know how to fix a washing machine i'll watch and watch a you tube video ..... then i'll be thrilled that I fixed my machine.... then I'll go on to improve it and all the time I'll tell people that i'm not really a plumber but there I am plumbing.

I don't think you are right. Millions of gay people who have been fed a visual diet of straight romance/sex plots in films, TV, books and other media aren't turned straight or even straight-curious.

I doubt it. Again, this seems like a crisis of labels. It does people no good to try to fit themselves into a specific, prescribed category. Or even try to work out which category they might fall into. Sexuality is a fluid, dynamic spectrum, and the idea of straight, bi, gay isn’t really helpful, these days. We are all lucky enough to have sexual liberation, so just enjoy what you do, and don’t worry about a label.

Accepted...... but they are not wanking to those types of films. I am not saying that if I look at shit on a plate that I'll eventually accept it as food .....

Sex is such a 'basic instinct' wanking to shit on a plate will eventually make shit on a plate part of my stimulus bank......

But in order to be stimulated sufficiently to wank... The plate of shit must have stirred something there to begin with.

I don't think there is any credible psychology paper which shows that watching gay porn in itself turns anyone gay or bi. My two sexual psychology therapist friends agree.

Do you have links?

Yes and maybe you are project and imagining it’s you getting it.

I do enjoy watching straught porn and always project myself in the girls that get a good ramming.

Plus visually can be a turn on, as in the whole thing.

A lot of the male population suffer from cock envy, it makes no difference what your sexual orientation is.

Most males are very visual so watching a big cock in action again sexual orientation is irrelevant.

Agreed. Some people fit perfectly into them, but others find it difficult, and if there are strong societal expectations for someone to conform into one of only three options, I think it can be problematic for a lot of people.
