I think people's insecurities make them feel the need to lie to get the meets in the first place.
Honesty is the best policy in the long run and a much better way to get repeat meets as you get to know people because they appreciate it. |

I'm surprised adults appear surprised others lie!
Check out any thread where people post asking for profile advice. I've seen a bi man into cream pie cleanup morph into a straight man, safe sex only in five minutes.

I would think so, you would think so, but some people wouldnt know honesty if it slapped em on the ass.....anyway i spose it depends what people wish to divulge, so it could be a case of if you need to know, they will tell you, if you dont then mind your own?

I am, perhaps, too honest and disclose too much. I don't trust everything said to me immediately but I also don't want to start off questionning everything someone tells me. It's not about disclosing everything either. But when do you trust people? After that first meet? After a month? After a year? I've just found out, after a year, that someone I did trust on here has been lying since day one and kept it up in a such a convincing way. It will certainly make me even more wary of anyone I am in contact with.
