I sent a message to someone on here, only to find it was deleted without response, the message was a compliment on her body ink, why can't people just say thanks? |

I generally delete messages from men who don't meet my criteria - usually I don't even bother opening the message.

Surely if it was *just* a compliment to let them know you liked their ink OP - surely it's wrong to *expect* a response?
Yes it would be nice to get a thank you - but it would also be nice if the lady concerned could send a thank you and it not be seen as an invite (which she has no way of knowing if you'd see it that way or not) |

She has no way of knowing that. I have had so many men give me compliments or comments, and then when I respond politely, use it as a way to try and get me to chat further. It happens all the time.

Yeah a proper party band - saw them at the Leeds Ska and Mod Festival a couple of years ago - sadly Buster threw a strop that day because they'd been bumped down the running order as The Duallers had a hit album out, so the performance suffered as a result. |

Ok, but we don't know the difference between "now you've been nice to me let's meet. What do you mean you don't want to meet (insert abuse here)". You might not do that, but for every guy who wouldn't, there's two that deny they would and three that wouldn't even deny it.
And it breaks the filters so they can message you forever more. Bad idea. |

Wow must be a day ending in Y if another man feels entitled to a response from someone he doest know. Fab rules clearly state they if a message is not replied to it should be taken as a polite no thankyou and as such it's not rude to not reply. What is rude is expecting a reply just because you feel you are owed one, as is creating a post on the forum to try and shame people into feeling bad for not responding to every single message in there inbox |
