Now the sun is here and I generally change my meals accordingly, I am venturing into stir frys
What types of food do you eat when the weather warms up and any stir fry ideas would be gratefully received (I can just about follow recipes ) |

It's all new to me!
I've not cooked for myself in the spring in ages as I would previously eat at work.
I reckon it'll be much the same as the winter food I've started cooking coz it's still gonna be chuffing freezing out |

"It's still January!
I'm sticking to stews, roasts and hearty soups until March."
Agreed, it's definitely still Winter.
But in the spirit of your thread, in Spring I do Nigella's chicken and orzo with lemon quite a bit - it's relatively simple to do and I add a fair amount of garlic because that makes life better.
I also do baked feta drizzled in honey with cara_elized chanteray carrots and lambs lettuce.
Lightly boiled jersey potatoes with a mint butter and a poached egg.
Chicken thighs cooked in a cassoulet dish with a white wine, creme fraiche, petit pois and bacon lardons sauce.
Goats cheese and roast butternut squash risotto.
Shaved carrots salad - sesame seeds, carrots, spinach, tomato and balsamic vinger with mustard.
Soft boiled eggs with perfectly cooked asparagus and sea salt.
Pulled lamb with toasted pitta breads and a cucumber salad (again with mint).

Oh that would make me so happy! You would be fed such delights, I'd gaze lovingly into your face as you ate and we could talk for hours and hours and hours. |

Would you mind awfully letting me finish my food before you commence the gazing? I'd get all self-conscious. |

Your mesmerising beauty won't pause as you eat though, what's a wife to do?
I shall be patient and avert my gaze elsewhere, out of love for you. |
