because of the rain the butterflies aint come out of cacoons yet as there body clocks have messed up becuase of weather

Or moths, and as a consequence Bats to. Bats have been reported flying during the day as they are starving, however then they become prey to Sparrow hawks etc. Too much rain.

mind, thinking about it there must have been a few bees about earlier in the year as my tree is full of apples and they are quite big and ripe for the time of year.

Should be a bumper taster crop this round.
