Everyone has different preferences on age, sex, body type.. some will like a gym bod, some won't, some will but will worry about their own wobbly bits to much to go for it, some won't want a straight guy, some won't want a bi guy,
Take it with a pinch of salt and enjoy the forums and banter until people are meeting again,
There are so many more men than women too,

I mean the profile matters as well, blokes might not read them but women do, you could be the fittest bloke in the world but no thought in the profile and you’ll struggle with a lot of women and couples on here |

There’s a belief amongst some that being in good shape means you’re either a meathead jock or a stuck up prick. Both are stereotypes and sadly both don’t equal the truth. Chances are you’re struggling because you’re a single bloke (you’re in the majority mate, there is fucking loads of us) and because we are in the grips of a pandemic. Lots of people aren’t meeting or even chatting to new people. If you’re in good nick and not a twat, you’ll probably do quite well here. Stick with it, it’s worth it |

I'm not saying you are but It comes across a bit arrogant, like you expect women to reply just because of your body and you genuinely seem confused as to why every woman doesn't reply.
Sell yourself to the women of fab as a funny, witty, kind, thoughtful guy with your figure coming second so that you're more than just a body.
Ps if that fails offer them cake and say you won't eat any because of your figure, they'll like that.
The way you thanked people for their comments show you're a good guy so sell that side of you.

I’m no where near as good shape as a lot of people I am normal!! |

I do think it is nature of the beast at the moment, people can't meet because of lockdown etc. Everything is quiet.
I don't get many messages, I've had 4 new messages since Thursday. Never known it to be so quiet |

A one line profile will only appeal to a small section of people.
Think of yourself like a car. Some people like the colour of a car and will want it based on that, some people like the shape of the car and will like it based on that. Some will like the interior, some the added extras, some the size of the engine or the economy, some the size of the boot and the practicality of it. Some will like the price.
A Ferrari is not designed to tick everyone’s boxes, it’s just fast and (in general) red, it’s designed to appeal to a small minority of the world, because only a small minority have the money to buy it. So they can put up a picture of it and say “nuff said” and the three people that see that advert and can afford one may (big “may”) want to buy one. Now we might all (generalisation) want a Ferrari but not all of us want to jump through the hoops to get one, so we stick to cars that fulfil the other requirements we have in this life, and we find that out by reading the specifications.......

I prefer a man who's in good shape.
I'd say that whoever told you that you're not getting messages due to your body type is wrong. It's because you're a young, single guy on a website in the midst of the worst pandemic in 100 years where men hugely outnumber women and nobody is supposed to be meeting.
I've seen men's lack of success blamed on age, body type, height, penis size, ethnic origin, location, women being too fussy and numerous other reasons. All of those probably apply at various times to various people but the long and short of it is that unless you make the first move and appeal to the individual woman you've contacted you're unlikely to have much luck. Send a few messages out, join in a few threads on the forum maybe even go into the chat rooms.

What you look like is only a small part of it. How you present yourself in your profile (text and gallery) and how you talk to people are crucial as well. We're also in a pandemic so lots of people are just not making new contacts currently.
You've only been here three months. It takes a while for a single guy to get going on here. |

Yes and no... Some people have a preference for gym fit people just the same way some have preference for bbw, or blonds v brunette... people are entitled to have preferences and it will be a plus to as many people as its a negative. Personally I'm partial to a tattooed bad bod bald and bearded combo, we all have our thing haha |
