We like them (we have a few each) but be careful - choose your design carefully, (perhaps one that means something to you) be equally careful about your choice of tattooist (we've seen some awful tattoos done by supposed professionals) |

We don't mind if people have tattoos but not too many. Also we find facial tattoos a turn off.
For ourselves we don't like them, although Mrs H does use temporary tattoos to cover scar tissue from breast surgery. |

If you like it that’s all that matters you should not get a tattoo just because others like it as it’s you that needs to look at it everyday
It’s you that needs to look in the mirror everyday at it
Trust me when I say there’s nothing worse than have a tattoo that you regret for the rest off your life and that’s comeing from personal experience |

My 2 pennies worth is to make it your own decision. Some will love it some will hate it.
As a rule of thumb good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good.
Be especially mindful if you're thinking about getting Buddhist imagery tattooed. Virtually everyone from India and beyond will recognise it and it may cause offence.

^^^ this! If you need to ask people their preference on them etc then you need to wait on getting on until you’re sure you want one for you and know what you want. Hubby has 1 and 1/4 sleeves done, and I love his ink, but wouldn’t get that much myself. A few small meaningful ones I can hide is what I have and like
Either way take your time and ensure the tattoo you pick is something you can live with having forever, perhaps start something small on upper arm xx |

I don't know if I'm old fashioned, narrow-minded or have a warped sense of entitlement over women's bodies but I actively dislike tattoos regardless of design. I can recognise that some are artistic or have a special meaning but they just put me off. |

Always wanted one, but I wanted to make sure it was something really meaningful to me, rather than just getting one for the sake of it. I just could never decide what that was.
After a while I realised pretty much all of the people at the places I loved to go had tattoos and by not having one made me a little unique.
I liked that. Going against the 'norm' for those places felt a little rebellious |

It's your body so do what pleases you, personally I love my ink and enjoy looking at ink on other people.
It really doesn't matter if somebody doesn't have any though, but if they have and I notice, I will (potentially subtly) check it out |
