Personally, I find that if one is careful when laundering and uses the time-honored method of pegging out the washing to dry in the breeze or the sunshine, that it requires little or no ironing for everyday wear.

Agreed. I don't even own an iron, an ironing board or a tumble dryer. It's been a few years since I have ironed anything. |

During winter months or in bad weather I put clothes on hangers and hang on a rail, works wonders |

When I left home the first things I bought were bedding, an ironing board and an iron.
I don't get as good a finish with these modern irons. I miss the heavy dry irons. But if I were to find someone who could give me a good finish I would be eternally grateful  |
