It makes your chips a soggy mess if you get them take out. By the time you get home, it resembles mash with gravy.
I do like buying a tub of gravy or curry sauce, then pouring over the chips 'fresh', or dipping them in the tub |

Exactly that - hence the moderation - although bizarrely roast potatoes (which are essentially chips in a different shape) I smother in gravy!! |
